Why exactly do people support Don't Ask Don't Tell?

It's going to be really costly if gays are permitted in the military. They will have to have another set of rest rooms for them. They will require separate housing. They will have multiple partners receiving medical coverage, which is something straight people do not have the same option. There will be demands to keep their blood donations separate for fear of HIV and AIDS.
