Why should the wealthy be penalized for being successful?

I do not think so. If it wasn't for the rich a lot of folks wouldn't have jobs. Besides, being rich should not be penalized no matter how you got the money(unless it was ill gotten gain). You don't see poor people hiring. Geez we need the rich getting breaks so we can put food on our table!
