Any ideas on how to incorporate a 1930's theme into a wedding?

I am trying to stick with pearls and ivory lace for the actual wedding. I have some old fashioned lanterns that I will use for centerpieces. The groomsmen will have on tuxedos with a cut away style coat, but as far as my bridesmaids dresses go, I am finding it difficult to figure out how to reflect a 1930's with them (without putting them in something that they may find hideous). Another road block is my invitations. I cant seem to find an invitation that is vintage enough, and I want to send out save the date magnets that have the same vintage theme/look. Does anyone have any ideas or websites I can reference?
