Help! I have the worst pelvic pain ever!?

So for the last few months i've been getting severe pelvic pain. I can pinpoint the exact location to both ovaries. The pain comes and goes at different time of the month, particularly a week before my period and during my period. My periods have never been regular and i have always suffered with fatigue and pain with them. I've seen my doctor a few times about this and he thinks i may have endometriosis. I've had an external and internal ultrasound scan which came back normal. My doctor has referred me to a gynaecologist, i have my appointment in January. In the meantime he has started me on oral contraceptives, cilest. 3 days ago i started my first 7 day break of the pill. I've had pain as usual in the last few days but last night the pain was at it's worst it's ever been. It was so bad i didn't know what to do with myself, even considered going to the hospital! Although under control with strong pain killers, the pain is still severe today. My doctor said the pill would help but it's made it so much worse! What can i do? Is this normal or should i stop with the pill?
