I need information on cardiac surgeons. so help please.?

Thoracic surgeons have spent years on extending their education to specifically do heart surgery , lungs etc of the organs in the chest cavity. They typically spend a great deal of time in the operating room doing cardiac byp surgery, lung resections and so forth. Education for them averages 4 years med school 4 years internship then they spend and additional 2 years becoming a surgeon and another 2 years specializing in thoracic surgery.More information can be obtained form your local library or any medical school.
