What do i say and when ?

in the third grade i was a new kid in the schools i still attend when i walked into the cl room there was a boy in the back of the room and he smiled at me so i went to sit next to him over the next 5 years we became best friends i always liked him but we both had dated other people an i did not think he liked me any way we were in the 7th grade last febuary and he came up to me and said we needed to talk and it happened to be a friday so i met him at the movies he turned twards me he had the same look as he did that day in third grade he said i cant hold this inside any longer ive like you for ever i try to date other people and forget how much i like you and he asked me out and i said yes we have been going for 8 months and we went to the football game last weekend and after the game he kissed me goodbye and he siad i love youi wanted to say i love you back but he kissed me again and i think he tought that i did not love him but i do and my mom was waitig for me in the car so i had to go so i just got in the car
