I REALLY Need help proof reading my appeal! (Do I have a good chance of getting it accepted?)?

I think it is a great letter but for you first step about no participating extracurricular activities does not sound good. Just say that you will hold it off for now, and will look for it in the future when you are sure you can handle it. Also say that you are going to do any thing necessary such as: Asking professors for help. visiting them during their office hours, taking tutoring when needed, and seeking your academic adviser when you need to. Also say that you should have talked to your academic adviser, when you realized you were getting overwhelmed to seek whatever options might have been available. Sum it up by saying what being in college means to you and why you would never want this to happen again, and also did you noticed a big drop in your grades the first semester? If so, write the reason why you did not do any thing about it. Be honest. Also say that you should have visited the schools counseling center when you found out about your mother condition.
