There is only a small window of about 3-4 days when you can get pregnant because you need to be trying to conceive at the same time you are ovulating. I am going to say that if you are expecting your period to start soon then the window for conceiving this month has ped. You need to try and monitor when you ovulate the following month and so on and time your from about 3-4 days prior, to a day after you ovulate. If you want a really good way of knowing when you are ovulating look into getting a product called maybe baby. It will show you when you are about to and when you are ovulating. I have used this for my last 2 pregnancies and it has worked first time both times. Good luck with it all. Being a mum is fantastic and btw you're not too young I had my first at 23 1/2 and my daughter was born on our first wedding anniversary.
